Restoration Hardware presents General Public

Restoration Hardware is proud to announce their collaboration with General Public, an art curation company which is revolutionizing the way we think about and collect art.

Unlike the current method of printing, which is a flat poster version of a painting, General Public's textured prints are almost identical to the original with all of the texture and articulation created by the artist.

Using 3D printing technology, General Public's Synograph method of print making is designed to make high-priced, one-of-a-kind works available to those who don’t have the means or know-how to purchase them from galleries.

Consumers can expect to pay between $500 and $4,000 USD for a Synograph direct from General Public, with an average price of $1,000. Pricing depends in part on any individual work’s edition run, which can be either limited or unlimited.

In their exclusive collaboration with RH Modern, Restoration Hardware shoppers will have exclusive access to a special line of Synographs not available at other retailers.

Currently, Restoration Hardware is carrying Synographs created from the original artwork of artists Koen Lybaert, Kali Sanders, Seb Sweatman, Paul Van Rij and Molly Snee.
