Company History

Palazzetti is excited to celebrate their 30th anniversary this year.

Palazzetti Canada opened their doors in 1988 as a way for Italian fashion photographer, Fabia Sadoch, to introduce to the design community and to the increasingly sophisticated public, a wide range of great Italian design. A little nostalgic for Europe, she surrounded herself with beautiful things, originally in a lonely Etobicoke warehouse. As interest grew, the store moved to a more easily accessible location in North York. With a keen eye to proportion and scale, the mood can be defined as relaxed elegance.

Every year Palazzetti keeps up with the ever-changing world design by introducing new and innovative products to compliment our existing collections. This year, new introductions include: a wide variety of worry free materials on existing collections, dozens of new swivel chairs, wall beds and a new rug collection.

What makes Palazzetti unique?

Palazzetti offers far more options than most stores, in terms of finishes and sizes of products, to be able to create the perfect space. For this reason, I feel that our curated collections are the most unique aspect to the business, and we wouldn’t be able to do it without the skilled craftsmen and women at the factories.

Wall beds, new carpets, new swivel chairs, a new motorized reclining sofa, new throws.

Plans for the future

Palazzetti is planning on expanding their Canadian collections as they become more competitive with Italian products. They are also planning on expanding the collections of lighting, expanding their Private Label collection thereby allowing them to increase their customization options.
